At Cool Chess Canada we really want you to be happy with your purchase. We understand that there may be circumstances that mean you need to return a product to us. The following lays out our return policy terms. Please read them carefully.
Our goal is to dispatch goods ordered to you within 48 hours of receiving your order. If we receive and order during the weekend we aim to dispatch the goods ordered on the following business day. Delivery within Canada is expected to take no longer than two weeks and will generally be within one week. We will always endeavor to get your order to you as quickly as we can.
Shipping Rates and taxes
Shipping rates vary according to province, due to distance from our warehouse. We try to keep the rates as competitive as possible. We currently have no free shipping policy in place. We currently do not ship international orders, but we hope to change this policy in the near future. Taxes are charged as per your provincial rate.
30 Day Returns
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us within 30 days of the shipping date. Merchandise must be received in a new or otherwise original condition and with the original packaging. Please note we do not charge a restocking fee.
Cool Chess Canada does not pay for or reimburse shipping on returns, except when we ship an incorrect item. In this case we will only reimburse shipping costs based on Canada Postal Service Ground shipping rates. Cool Chess Canada will not reimburse based on another shipper unless previously agreed to. Please contact us for queries regarding this.
If you receive damaged merchandize from us please contact us within 7 days of receipt of merchandize for the claim to be valid. Please email: email@example.com or telephone: 1-416-705-5168. If you receive damaged merchandize, it is important to preserve the product and its packaging. We will work with you to replace the damaged product as soon as possible. Please be aware that we have to work with the shipper in order to process a claim, so don't return a product until we give you further instructions.
Cool Chess Canada aims to process refunds as soon as possible. Please allow up to two weeks for us to process your refund once returns have been received. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by mail or credit card companies.
Broken Chess Piece Policy
If one of your chess pieces gets broken within a year of purchase we will do our best to send you a replacement free of charge. Contact us with the details and we will work with you to get a new one sent to you as soon as possible. We can only guarantee replacement while we carry the product in stock.
